He tries to wheedle his way out of battles but ends up in the thick of the fighting. As a soldier in the Queen's service he makes his way through different momentous events in Victorian history-mainly colossal defeats of the British Colonial forces, such as the Charge of the Light Brigade. ![]() Harry Flashman is a coward and a bully always watching out for number one, without very much feeling for anyone else (he says, but this turns out not to always be true, or we wouldn't like him at all). If you are any sort of reader at all, you must read the Flashman books. ![]()
